Ms. Sherry Williams was appointed as Executive Director of Home of Miracles and Embraces, Inc. in January 2012. She has worked in youth development, prevention and intervention education programs on a community level for 10 years, serving as a volunteer board member and Director of Programs for H.O.M.E., Coordinator and puppeteer for Rappahannock Area Kids on the Block, Inc., Committee Chair and Unit Commissioner for the SJAC Boy Scouts of America.
Sherry has facilitated youth development educational programs and prevention education programs on HIV issues, gang violence prevention, bully prevention, social issues, community safety and health issues.
She brings a unique family perspective to the role of Executive Director of H.O.M.E. as a mother and leader of a home school family with two sons, she understands the importance of vision and the drive to achieve positive change for the future of our youth. Her belief in youth volunteering along with her partnership relationships with a multitude of community based programs and her work at RAKOB and SJAC, she has become a visible spokesperson addressing over 20,000 youth in 2011 on important concerns and issues impacting families and schools.
